Have You Placed Yourself in Solitary Confinement?

Have you placed yourself in solitary confinement?

Do you live the following lifestyle which leads to social isolation:

Wake up, immerse yourself in an hour commute to your office.

Spend hours alone in a cubicle resembling a jail cell.

Do not talk or have lunch with those around you.

Your desktop and phone are the only ones praising your efforts.

Aside from the occasional bathroom break, if you even think of drinking lots of water to take care of yourself, you speak to no one. At the end of your work day you commute back home as your blood pressure fluctuates depending on who cuts you off in traffic.

Exercise, this is out of your comfort zone! Maybe you will put in an hour of family time before you try to go back to sleep to start over again while constantly checking your texts, email, messages, alerts and what your drama media news station thinks about the world. Chances are you will not sleep well.

This is not a healthy lifestyle.
You are letting yourself be imprisoned by Society.

To train or “break” a mind of an imprisoned soul - prison guards send prisoners to solitary confinement and deprive them of sleep. This combination creates a psychotic breaking of the will. You will be owned by them and not yourself.

You need to evolve and stop conforming immediately. You must formulate Your Why, Your Purpose, a New Story to tell your soul.

Here is this week's call to influence:

Get a simple notepad, napkin, index card or your digital device and answer the following:

Today (The Old You!)

  • Who can I compare myself to today?

  • How do I feel?

  • How did I get here?

  • When did I let myself get arrested?

Wednesday (The New You!)

  • How can I bail myself out?

  • Who will pick me up?

  • What am I going to do today to never again strand myself in solitary confinement?

Friday (Your New Calling!)

  •  Compile your new you into a calling, a recurring theme. Say it out loud and share it with a person you love. Read it every evening and first thing when you wake up.

I promise you will immediately see the darkness in your prison cell fill with light.

Repeat this and you will begin to compare yourself to others who radiate light and empower humanity. You will eventually become free enough that others will aspire to follow you out of their solitary prison sentences.
